BIOGRAPHY

Frank Carofano has been a broadcaster for over 30 years. "Franco" began his journey at the legendary 13 WAVZ in New Haven, Connecticut where he interned under some of the biggest and brightest names in the industry, such as Pete Salant. He also worked and learned from such talents as Willie B. Goode. Curtis W. Hansen, Rick Everett Gary Wall, and the list goes on.

"Franco" had always been known more for his programming ability and on air skills rather than as a production talent. But when he did a spot, he knew how to sell the product. Not only can "Franco" deliver a read, whether it be a fast-paced hard sell or a one-on-one approach, he can also write creative copy that is sometimes spellbinding.

With a resume that includes WNHC in New Haven CT, Afternoon Drive at KC101 in New Haven CT, and Weekends at WTIC FM Hartford CT (just to name a few), his longest stint of 21 years was at WQGN in New London CT where his duties ranged from music director to general manager. While always holding an air shift, "Franco" has the experience you're looking for.
